The Matthew is a replica of the ship that John Cabot sailed to 'rediscover' North America in 1497. On this voyage of discovery Cabot and his Tudor crew left Bristol and travelled across the unknown Atlantic to land on what we know know as 'Newfoundland'. We provide educational trips around Bristol's historic floating harbour that offer our visitors a unique experience.
